Education

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Game Design from DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, Washington in 2024.

I received my Associates of Applied Science degree in Computer Gaming and Simulation from Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland in 2021.

Gaming

I play many different games that consist of many different genres. Some of my favorite games or franchises are Assassin's Creed, Borderlands, Prototype, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and more. I really enjoy gaming and pushing myself to try new games that are out of the realm of what I have experienced before. I like to stay informed on new and popular games, look into older games I haven't gotten around to playing yet, and trying games that might be considered more of hidden gems. I like to try games for myself regardless of reviews or scores as I have found I don't always agree with what I see online and if nothing else there is usually something for me to learn as a designer from games that didn't perform as well as they wanted to.

Other Hobbies

Some physical hobbies of mine are soccer and archery. I started both of these when I was a kid and they persisted in some form or another into my adult life. I wish I had more opportunities to play soccer but I need to find more people to play it with. For archery I have both a recurve and a compound bow. I don't prefer one over the other and have become quite good at both. I have considered entering competitions but have not done so this far.

Some other hobbies I have are voice acting and engineering. Voice acting is something that I want to get more into as I always like impersonating characters I have heard in games and shows. I would like to do voicework sometime in the future possibly in a game I am working on. Prior to game design, I was actually an engineering student. I wanted to major in mechanical engineering, then electrical before deciding to move to game design. I still have a passion for engineering when it comes to reconstructing, analyzing, and constructing things. Technology and innovation have always been important and fascinating to me.
